The NOAA Fisheries draft Climate Science Strategy (NCSS) is designed to increase the production, delivery, and use of climate-related information to marine and coastal resource managers, resource users and others at regional to national scales. Changes in ocean ecosystems are impacting the nation’s valuable living marine resources and the people, businesses and communities that depend on them. To fulfill its mission to sustain marine resources and their environments for the benefit of the nation, NOAA Fisheries and partners need additional information and tools to track, project and effectively respond to changing climate and ocean conditions.
