Jessi Kershner, Senior Scientist at EcoAdapt
Over the past two years, EcoAdapt and partners have led a climate change vulnerability assessment and developed adaptation strategies for key Southern California habitats, with key input from many USFS staff. This webinar will provide an overview of the project methods, present the final results of the vulnerability assessment, share examples of adaptation strategies and actions for Southern California habitats, and provide links for downloading all final products. We will also be sharing adaptation implementation plans and case studies focused on integrating vulnerability and adaptation information into activities such as fire and fuels management, watershed improvement, grazing management, and restoration and planting.
