The South Coast region is alive with projects, planning efforts, and partnerships that are focused on conserving biological diversity and uniqueness of the region. These existing efforts and partnerships are critical to forming the foundation for understanding and building resilience to climate change now and in the future.

The Climate Science Alliance - South Coast (formerly San Diego Climate Science Alliance) has pulled together vignettes of existing climate adaptation efforts (file unavailable) in the South Coast. Read these vignettes to understand how and where climate adaptation principles are being put into action.

The Climate Science Alliance-South Coast is a partnership formed to create and support a network of leaders, scientists, and natural resource managers focused on sharing ecosystem-based resiliency approaches to safeguard our communities and natural resources from climate change risks.
