The CA LCC Tribal Team was formed to incorporate tribal perspectives and interests in CA LCC activities.  The Tribal Team works to create opportunities for partnership between and among Tribes and other land managers and contribute to a holistic view of land management that includes tribal cultural heritage and traditional ecological knowledge (TEK). 

The CA LCC Tribal Team supports the integration of TEK into management practices to ensure resilient and sustainable natural landscapes for California. This Team guided the development of Tribal Climate Adaptation and TEK workshops.

The California Climate Commons page "Tribal Resources" contains a set of materials for guidance on proper and respectful interaction of natural resouce managers and scientists with Tribes.  You can sign up for announcements by the Tribal Team.
